I was too busy at work yesterday to watch the live launching of the “Almighty” Samsung Galaxy S4. Later on, I read the reports and reviews about the S4, and I must say, while reading the amazing and mind blowing features of the Smartphone I couldn’t contain myself; I was lost in a world of excitement and shock! It almost like the features of the phone wanted to drive me nuts (and I was only reading it, imagine me now touching it)
Kudos to Samsung for such an innovation, your head is there. As for the rest- iPhone, Nokia and Blackberry, how market? Ehen! Can’t hear you guys well…..abeg go and park well and learn from Samsung.
Let me first start by saying this and it’s a confession, I ain’t no fan of the Nokia brand! However, I have recently noticed that I’m beginning to fall in love with the Nokia brand. Why? I still don’t know, though I suspect that my cousin who happens to be a staff of Nokia here in Ibadan, Nigeria is the cause. Every day, she comes home from work and bombards me with all sorts of Nokia ideologies, accessories and phones, which I must say is cool. So, I guess I’m impressed by Nokia.
And so from the corridors of RIM was developed another line of smartphones known as the BlackBerry Bold unveiled to the very eyes of the world. The family was launched in 2008 with the 9000 Model. In 2009 the form factor was shrunk with the 9700 and the Tour 9630. In 2010 RIM released the 9650 and 9780 refresh with OS 6. In 2011 came the 9788 and 9790 along with the current flagship – the 9900/9930 series. The 9900/9930 and 9790 are touch screen smartphones, released in August and November 2011.
